Today I woke up bright and early and ran to my computer to download the newest from She & Him. Ever since I listened to Volume 1, Zooey Deschanel and M Ward's brilliant collaboration in 2008, I was hooked! So far, Volume 2 does not disappoint! It is full of pretty 1960's vibes, and makes me want to sway my hips and twirl and twirl and twirl... Yes... In love again!

Dear Spring

As I lay in bed staring out through the window into a brand new freezing day in March, I can't help but yearn for the first, precious days of Spring. I can't wait to go outdoors without a jacket and get beautiful sunlight on my pale arms, and wear no tights and little dresses, or to take my dogs to the park, or to dip my toes in the ocean, or have a beer with the best of friends outside...ahh... The first signs of warm weather are the most romantic days...
