Snuggles

This week has been pretty great. I took a long weekend and headed up to Kutztown on Thursday to spend more time with Eric. We are getting pretty antsy and since we have yet to find the perfect house are looking into finding a great apartment. In a few hours we are going to go see one that is described as a cozy stone house in a country setting. It even has a fireplace! Sounds pretty terrific... we'll see! :)



In the meantime... I took some photos of Eric wearing my new Boyfriend Snuggler neckwarmer! It is super thick being I crochet two skeins of heavy yarn together, soft and really cozy. I really love the Wood color too! It has flecks of red and green mixed in... I think it is pretty cool. It is for sale now in my shop.



After the photos we picked some gorgeous looking tomatoes and baby peppers from his parents garden to put on top of a pizza we made for dinner... way yummy!

This Saturday come out for an evening of live music from 3 incredible bands, 4 amazingly talented clothing/accessory designers(myself included! yay!) drinks, snacks, good people and a damn good time!

A True Sweet Darling

A few entries ago, I blogged about being completely stoked to listen to Volume Two by She & Him...

As far back as I can remember, I have always admired the incredible talent, unique style and absolute gorgeousness that is Zooey Deschanel. Her beautiful vintage inspired look has been a great influence on me and many other girls as well.
Needless to say, I was crazy excited when I found out I would be seeing She & Him perform in Philadelphia at World Cafe Live for their free at noon show. After an incredible 5 song set I was able to briefly meet Zooey and give her one of my bows! She was completely lovely in person and my day was instantly made!
As if this weren't enough to keep me on cloud 9 for years to come, a very best friend called me late last night to say she came across photos of Zooey wearing the cream bow headband at a show on July 4 at Governor's Island in New York! so cool!!! :)
