I've known Stephanie for a little while now being she is engaged to my fiance's cousin. She is brand spanking new to etsy so lets show her a little love! ;)

1)Tell me a little bit about Stephanie Peace Design
I've always been interested in unique jewelry. Once I learned silversmithing and goldsmithing I wanted to start my own business. Working with my hands and being able to make everything myself is part of who I am.

2)What is your creative process like?
I don't have a process, really, it's inspiration that drives my creativity.

3)What inspires you?
Living in New England, I am surrounded by natural beauty. This is reflected in my work by using beach stones and sea glass. I also like to incorporate other natural materials, such as rough gem stones.

4)What is your most cherished homemade object?
A christmas present I made for my fiancé. It's a carved wooden heart locket, made from tiger maple. I carved our initials on the back and put my picture, along with a little note, inside. He looks at it everyday.

5)What is currently playing on your ipod?
The moonlight sonota, Beethoven.

What great idea to combine gems with stones. I love the simplicity of her pieces. Just beautiful.
