I mean, I really think you like me...

Yesterday I was looking through(snooping perhaps?) some old photos on Eric's computer and came across this photobooth picture we took about 4 years ago at the Willows in Salem Massachusetts. It was right after we got back together after me stupidly breaking it off with him because I was freaking out about commitment. We were so happy to be back together, and I would say still are. I was going to wait until Valentines Day to profess my love, if you will... but why wait? We don't even LIKE V-day and never do anything to celebrate it!
We met about 8 and a half years ago... He came over to me while I was waiting to go into my art history class in the Kutztown University art building and asked if I wanted to get coffee after class. I had seen him around a ton since we we were both art majors and had the most insane crush on him. I was dating someone else at the time and it was pretty serious, but I of course said yes to coffee, and we became great friends...
That summer the boy I was so head over heels in love with broke my heart and after a few weeks of self pity and crying messes and a little bit of nice weight loss, I received a package in the mail from Eric. It was him singing this silly little song and a mix tape of some really great happy songs. My favorite was the last song which was "Bowl of Oranges" by Bright Eyes. We went to the beach, and I fell in love with him pretty much instantly.

So that is the beginning... we have now been together for 7 and a half years I think almost to the day... Living together has been a huge change for us... but I am happy to say even though it is difficult, I think it is the best decision we have ever made and should have done it way earlier. I feel really lucky to have found someone who 1)Puts up with my silly antics and 2)Is so ridiculously loving, caring and kind. I really adore the life we have together and I can't wait to one day get married, and have puppy children.

So... I hope I didn't make any of you gag on your morning coffee and I hope you'll continue to read my blog. I'm not one to really express publicly how I'm feeling, but I hope you got to know a little more about me through this.

Anyway... I hope you all have a fun and safe weekend! We are going to get our hair did on Saturday morning and then going to look at a couple of house on Sunday. I still have to take photos of our apartment to show you! (After we clean this weekend perhaps??!)
