It's Not Always Black and White
shorts: forever 21
top: gap
shoes: frye
necklace: mysalvation
glasses: ray ban
Since I was a child, I've always been pretty self conscience about my legs, my thighs in particular. For a long time, I refused to wear shorts, or super short dresses for fear of feeling like the elephant man. I never thought I was fat, but even at my skinniest, my thighs haunted me. Thoughts of the pale, doughy masses frolicking in the daylight gave me chills and drove me to wear pants on even the hottest days of summer. I'm not exactly sure when the transition to being comfortable with myself happened... I have come to accept that no matter how much running I do, or how much I try to limit my candy intake(which is seriously hard for me to do!!!) I will always have fuller legs. I am a curvy, size 6 girl, and even though it is hard to sometimes not wish to be thinner, or smarter, or whatever, accepting myself for who I am inside and out is the best I can do. In the words of dear Lady Gaga... I was born this way, baby! ;)

your legs look beautiful to me...and so do you..welcome to the luscious leg club...show them off!!!
I always felt (feel, because if I'm being honest I still do) the same about my legs! My thighs are not small, and they never will be. Most of the time I'm pleased with it, but sometimes I wish they were more waifish so shorts were eaisier and I could just run around and not think about them!
But you are so delicious! You look utterly fantastic in these shorts, ahh! Amazing!
I can understand. I've had three babies, so my tummy is my main source of disappointment. No matter how many sit ups and what nots I do, I will never have Janet Jackson abs.
You look great though. I love this top on you! You are too pretty to not love your legs. ;-)
great pants and your legs are fine dear

I'm so glad that you now feel happy and more confident with your body! You look fantastic; I really love your shoes, too:) xx
I have the same problem with my legs ! But your legs are fine ;)
Pink lipstick look great with black&white
What a lovely outfit! And you have gorgeous legs! A figure like a movie star from the 60s! Sooo pretty!
You have nothing to worry about! You're so cute!
I still refuse to wear anything above my knee because I totally HATE my legs from knee up!
your thighs look perfect to me. 100%. mine are dimpled and cellulite-ridden and always have been even when jogging 3-4 mi a day. but all the women in my family have the same thing, so i sort of view it as my connection to them. we're big thighed curvy gals and i'm alright with that now and love the women i get it from. plus it's too hot out to hide em!
I think your legs look great! And this outfit is really cute too! I wore a similar look a couple weeks ago with the black shorts and black&white striped top.
cute outfit- love the shoes!

Your outfit looks wonderful! I simply adore the neck detail on the back of your top! Gorgeous! And your legs look amazing! I used to have confidence issues about my legs too, life is definitely better once you're able to move on! (Shorts and mini 60s dresses are now my favourites!) Be sure to enter my £100 ASOS giveaway!

You take great photos. You are so photogenic. I hope you will visit my blog. I am following you. I hope you will find me interesting enough to follo, too.
You look great with stripes!
I think it is funny because before I read your post I was like "Wow, she has beautiful legs" not to be weird or anything. I think often times we think of as our assets as weaknesses...just because we don't see them the way they actually are.
