I hope you all have a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend! Last night I celebrated one of my most favorite people in the entire worlds birthdays, and Sunday I am going to Knoebels Amusement Park. It's a pretty neat place with really old wooden roller coasters and lots of cotton candy and kettle corn to stuff my face with! Yuuuummmmyyyyy! ;)

Swoon

Art Star Craft Bazaar 2011

What a time it was! Despite the terrible weather we had on Saturday and the stress over possible thunder storms on Sunday(which oddly enough, turned out to be a beautiful day!), Art Star was an incredible experience. I was under the Team HiP tent with 3 of the loveliest most interesting women I've ever met. (And their awesome husbands and my dear bff Ashley!) Sadly, (or stupidly!) I didn't take many photos of what was going on around us, but I sure got some good shots of the incredible work under my tent. Take a look!



Meet Jenny from the shop The Painted Lily She makes the most incredible coasters that pretty much almost sold out. All of her items make the perfect gift for just about anyone!




And then there is Michelle, aka Michabella whose bright colored statement necklaces and earrings are 100% swoon-worthy!

Finally, there is the adorable Kasey, from Kayemkay I've been coveting one of her dresses for quite some time now so it was super exciting to see them in person and try them on! I purchased a charming fitted floral number, and will definitely be purchasing one of her cookie cutter heart dresses later this summer.

Art Star Craft Bazaar

This weekend I am one of the many vendors selling at the Art Star Craft Bazaar Saturday and Sunday at Penns Landing in Philadelphia. This is my first time participating in such a huge event, but I feel quite prepared and not stressed out--yet! :)

Please do me a favor and all do some serious no rain dances for me because of course, the forecast at this point is calling for rain! (I'm doing my dance right now! ;)

I hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day with your mommies and other loved ones! My family had a little BBQ outback with my mom's best friend since kindergarden and her hubby and daughter. Here is a photo of my mom and Patti when they were kids...


My mom is the girl in the middle front with the long dark hair and Patti is in the front all the way to the right. So cute! :)

Geronimo

As I was giving my hands a well needed rest from crocheting for this weekends Handmade Brigade craft show in South Philly, I came across my new fashion obsession. Jenny Reyes is the talent behind clothing company Geronimo. Not only is each piece in her Spring 2011 collection AHHHMAZING, but after doing some digging, I found she caught tons of inspiration while touring with one of my most favorite bands, Rilo Kiley and then again with Jenny Lewis and The Watson Twins. Could this girl be any more awesome!!?









I will indeed be saving my pennies for the Julia Dress available for sale in her shop.
